If I were a video game villain I would be a tremendous asshat and break all of the villain rules.
I wouldn’t have an evil empire or anything I’d just go around and single out the protagonist and make their life difficult for no reason at all.
Like I’d get in the way of their quests and stuff (stealing key items after the bosses drop them, kidnapping important NPCs, etc.), and...
